The Utah VHF Society
Repeater survey page
Updated on 29 April, 2008

About this page:

This page exists to document whether or not various Salt Lake City (and Wasatch Front) area repeaters are, in fact, on the air.  These repeaters are surveyed from the Salt Lake valley area and, occasionally, from reports by bona-fide observers.

Please note:

This list should NOT be used to determine if a frequency is available for other use or is unused:  At various times, a repeater may be off-air temporarily, or propagation may make it difficult to survey, causing it to be unreachable at the time of testing.  Whever possible, the status of repeaters that are seemingly "off air" will be followed up to determine the true status of the repeater.

DO NOT assume that the frequency is available for other uses if it is shown as being "off air" in this list:  Please contact the frequency coordinator if you are interested in knowing the disposition of a particular repeater, or if you have additional information of this repeater.

Legend:
A - Repeater was Active (on-air) at the time of survey
N - No response from the repeater.  Note that this does not necessarily mean that the repeater was off-air, rather it could not be brought up from the survey location on the date noted.
* - (Asterisk) This indicates that no identification was observed on this repeater during the time of the survey, nor within a 20 minute time period.
